How to order. For whom.
 
 
Rentals are for a non-commercial, public or private screening.
Rental rates vary according to the length of the film.
All rentals are billed.

All the videos in the catalogue are available for rental in: DVD, VHS (PAL), Beta SP (PAL), Beta num (PAL).

• A free estimate of the rental cost can be sent to the customer on request.
• Reservations must be made in writing either by fax or postal mail. Each purchase order should clearly indicate the following: complete information on the renter; name of the individual and/or institutional department responsible for the rental, phone and fax number, e-mail and addresses for film shipment and invoicing (if they differ).
• It is recommended to order the films 2 weeks before your show date.
• Forward and return shipping costs are at the customer's charge (including any customs duties).
• It is strictly forbidden to copy a rented work, in full or in part, on any medium whatsoever. It is also strictly forbidden to broadcast video tapes edited for private/home use or films recorded on television, etc.
Institutional Print Sales.
This service allows associations or cultural and educational institutions* to acquire prints ‘with rights attached’ (that is, for the life of the print) of titles from the Simone de Beauvoir Audiovisual Centre’s collection.

The acquisition of a print permits personal research use as well as non-commercial screening within the confines of the purchasing association or institution.

Every print acquisition is arranged through a legal agreement between the buyer and the Simone de Beauvoir Audiovisual Centre. This legal agreement guarantees respect for ethical and authorship rights, as well as for copyrights, and fixes the conditions for screening and showing the works.

*Schools, universities, training institutes, museums, art centers.

This legal agreement guarantees respect for ethical and authorship rights, as well as for copyrights, and fixes the conditions and costs for showing the works on television.
